A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO AESTHETIC TREATMENT

Advanced Technology Designed to Work Without Heat or Freezing

Many non-invasive aesthetic technologies work by deliberately heating, freezing, or otherwise damaging tissue in order to create a visible change.

CellSound takes a different approach.

Its patented ElectroSonic Resonance® technology combines non-focused ultrasound with an electric field designed to manage changes in tissue impedance while treatment is being delivered. This allows ultrasound energy to continue reaching the treatment area without relying on focused ultrasound or thermal ablation.

Depending on the treatment being performed, CellSound may be incorporated into care for facial rejuvenation, body contouring, loose or crepey-looking skin, cellulite, texture, and other aesthetic concerns.

At SAS Aesthetic Institute, CellSound is used as part of a personalized, physician-guided treatment plan rather than as a one-size-fits-all procedure.

CELLSOUND MAY BE WORTH EXPLORING IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN:

  • Non-invasive body contouring

  • Facial rejuvenation

  • Firmer-looking skin

  • Improved skin texture

  • Cellulite concerns

  • Loose or crepey-looking skin

  • A treatment without heat or freezing

  • Little to no downtime

ELECTROSONIC RESONANCE® TECHNOLOGY

How CellSound Technology Works

CellSound combines low-intensity, non-focused ultrasound with a patented electrical field in a technology known as ElectroSonic Resonance®.

During treatment, ultrasound energy is delivered through a transducer while an electrical field is applied through electrodes positioned around the treatment area.

CellSound explains that the body’s natural bio-impedance can change during ultrasound treatment. Its electrical field is designed to continuously adapt to these changes so the ultrasound energy can continue reaching the intended tissue throughout the session.

The system’s software continuously adjusts multiple electrical-field parameters—including field direction and frequency—while synchronizing them with the ultrasound transducer.

Importantly, CellSound does not rely on cavitation, freezing, or thermal ablation as the basis of its technology. That makes it fundamentally different from several other body contouring and rejuvenation platforms.

At SAS Aesthetic Institute, the specific treatment area and protocol are chosen according to your goals and consultation.

MEET YOUR PHYSICIAN

Michael Romberg, MD, FACS

Dr. Michael Romberg leads SAS Aesthetic Institute with an emphasis on physician-guided, non-invasive aesthetic and wellness care.

His approach begins by understanding the patient’s concerns and goals before determining whether technologies such as CellSound are appropriate and how they may fit into a broader treatment plan.

Your visit begins with a consultation and evaluation of the areas you would like treated. Your goals, medical history, and previous aesthetic treatments are reviewed before CellSound is recommended.

During
Depending on the treatment, electrode pads are positioned around the area and ultrasound gel is applied. A CellSound transducer is moved across the selected treatment area while non-focused ultrasound and the synchronized electrical field are delivered.

After
CellSound is designed as a non-invasive treatment without thermal ablation or freezing. The manufacturer describes its aesthetic applications as requiring little to no downtime, although individual responses can vary.

Ongoing Care
Your treatment schedule depends on the application and your goals. Some patients may benefit from a planned series followed by periodic maintenance.

Frequently Asked Questions

CellSound is a non-invasive aesthetic technology that combines non-focused ultrasound with patented electric-field stimulation known as ElectroSonic Resonance®. It is used for face, body, and skin rejuvenation applications.

ElectroSonic Resonance® is CellSound’s proprietary combination of non-focused ultrasound and an adaptive electric field. The electrical component is designed to manage changes in tissue impedance while remaining synchronized with the ultrasound transducer.

CellSound is marketed for applications including facial rejuvenation, body contouring, skin firmness, texture, cellulite, stretch marks, and related aesthetic concerns. The appropriate use depends on your individual evaluation and goals.

CellSound is marketed for applications including facial rejuvenation, body contouring, skin firmness, texture, cellulite, stretch marks, and related aesthetic concerns. The appropriate use depends on your individual evaluation and goals.

No. CellSound describes its technology as non-thermal and states that it does not rely on thermal ablation, cavitation, or freezing.

CellSound differs from several body-contouring technologies because the manufacturer does not describe the process as destroying fat cells with heat or cold. Instead, its body platform is designed around non-focused ultrasound and ElectroSonic Resonance®.

CellSound markets its face and body treatments as having little to no downtime. Individual responses can vary depending on the treatment area and protocol.

Treatment time depends on the area and protocol. CellSound materials describe typical treatment sessions in the range of approximately 15–40 minutes, while facial treatments may take around 20–30 minutes per side.

There is no single treatment schedule for everyone. The recommended number of sessions depends on the area being treated, your goals, and your response to treatment.
