NON-INVASIVE CELLULITE & BODY-SMOOTHING TECHNOLOGY
UltraSmooth® Technology in Mokena, IL
UltraSmooth® is a non-invasive technology designed to improve the appearance of cellulite while supporting smoother-looking body contours.
The system combines 532 nm green-light photobiomodulation with a massage component, creating a treatment approach focused on cellulite, uneven texture, and selected body areas without surgery or invasive procedures.
At SAS Aesthetic Institute, UltraSmooth is offered as part of a personalized body-aesthetic plan based on the areas you want to address and the appearance you want to improve.

ULTRASMOOTH AT A GLANCE
*UltraSmooth treatments are designed to be non-invasive and comfortable. Your treatment areas and recommended plan will depend on your individual concerns and goals.

SMOOTHER-LOOKING BODY SKIN
A Different Approach to the Appearance of Cellulite
Cellulite is extremely common and can appear even in people who maintain a healthy weight and active lifestyle.
It often creates a dimpled or uneven appearance on areas such as the thighs, hips, and buttocks. Because cellulite involves more than simply the amount of body fat present, traditional weight loss alone may not significantly change how the skin looks.
UltraSmooth was designed specifically with these concerns in mind.
The technology combines green-light photobiomodulation with a mechanical massage component to support improvements in the appearance of cellulite while also helping address body circumference and contour.
At SAS Aesthetic Institute, treatment is planned around the areas that concern you rather than using the same approach for every patient.
PHOTONIC + KINETIC TECHNOLOGY
How UltraSmooth Technology Works
UltraSmooth combines light energy and mechanical massage within one body treatment.
The light portion uses 532 nm green LED energy delivered across the selected treatment area. This light-based technology is designed around photobiomodulation — using specific wavelengths of light to influence cellular activity without cutting or surgically altering the skin.
UltraSmooth then incorporates a massage component over the treatment area.
Unlike invasive cellulite procedures, UltraSmooth does not require incisions or cutting of connective tissue.
Your treatment areas and plan are selected according to where cellulite or uneven texture is most noticeable and what you would like to improve.

ULTRASMOOTH TECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS
Areas UltraSmooth May Help Improve
UltraSmooth combines green-light technology with mechanical massage to support improvements in the appearance of cellulite, uneven body texture, and selected body contours. Treatment areas are chosen based on your individual concerns and goals.
Thigh Cellulite
The thighs are one of the most common areas where cellulite becomes visible. UltraSmooth may be used to support a smoother, more even-looking appearance in selected areas of the thighs.
Hips & Outer Thighs
Dimpling and uneven skin texture around the hips and outer thighs may be addressed as part of a personalized UltraSmooth treatment plan designed around your body and aesthetic goals.
Buttocks
UltraSmooth may also be used on selected areas of visible cellulite and uneven texture around the buttocks to support a smoother overall appearance.
Overall Body Texture
For patients concerned about uneven-looking body skin in more than one area, treatment can be planned around multiple zones based on individual needs and goals.
UltraSmooth is designed to improve the appearance of cellulite and support body contouring. Treatment recommendations and results vary based on the area being treated and your individual goals.
Cellulite Treatment Designed Around Your Body
Cellulite is not the same for every patient.
Its visibility can differ depending on skin structure, body composition, tissue characteristics, age, and the area being treated.
At SAS Aesthetic Institute, UltraSmooth is not used as a one-size-fits-all treatment. We first evaluate what you want to improve and determine whether UltraSmooth is the right technology for that particular concern.
MEET YOUR PHYSICIAN
Michael Romberg, MD, FACS
Dr. Michael Romberg leads SAS Aesthetic Institute with a focus on personalized, physician-guided aesthetic and wellness care.
Rather than recommending a technology simply because it is available, the SAS team evaluates what you want to improve and helps determine which non-invasive treatment is best suited to that goal.
For patients considering UltraSlim, the focus is on creating a realistic, individualized body-contouring plan.
What to Expect
You relax while the UltraSmooth light panel is positioned over the selected treatment area. The device uses 532 nm green light, and the procedure also incorporates a massage component designed to complement the light-based treatment.
UltraSmooth does not involve surgery or incisions, so there is typically no surgical recovery period. You can generally continue with the rest of your day after treatment.
